Okay, the weather has already run its course and we are all counting down the days until we can wear a summer dress and attempt bare legs. So what have our fantastic fashion designers come up with for next season. The colour to look out for is Tangerine. Theres no need to buy head to toe tangerine, (unless you want to) you can simply have minimal amount mixing with black or have it included in a print. Scottish Fashion Awards 2010

June the 20th saw the 5th annual Scottish fashion Awards take place.  It was held at Glasgow's Science Centre where a tartan carpet opposed to the red carpet brought the stars and designers together.  Among the stars was Paulo Nautino, who won Scottish Style Icon of the Year.

Jonathan Saunders was the talk of the night, taking home the Scottish Fashion Designer of the Year award.  He was up against fellow designers such as well known Christopher Kane and Graeme Black.

Autumn/Winter 2010



There was a vast mix of trendsetters on the catwalk this season. 

Orange was a huge contribution to London’s Fashion Week, however started to fade in Paris with only dashes of the colour seen.  Wear orange knitted dresses with a mix of dark navy shoes, or if you don’t feel brave enough try toning it down with mustard.

This season we saw 4 main trends walking down the catwalk.  There was a lot of contrasting going on from heavy military chic by CHLOE to soft pretty pastels by CHRISTOPHER KANE and from delicate white by JILL SANDER to cyber printing by ALEXANDER MCQUEEN.  

For Utility (millitary) you saw khaki, shorts, double denim, beautiful workwear boots and the classic white shirt.
